Welcome to Eritrean.net. By using the site you agree to these terms. They are written to be read; if anything is unclear, write to info@eritrean.net.
What Eritrean.net is
A directory of Eritrean businesses, events and jobs, run for the community. Some listings were added by us from public sources and are marked as not managed by their business; the rest were added by members. We check what is submitted before it appears, but we cannot promise that every listing, event or job is accurate or still current. Check important details - opening hours, prices, dates, the employer - with the business or organiser before you rely on them.
Your account
- Give your real name and an email address you use. One person, one account.
- Keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what is done with your account.
- You must be at least 16 years old to create one.
What you may post
Only post what is true, what is yours to post, and what belongs here: Eritrean businesses, events, jobs and organisations.
You must not post:
- anything false or misleading, or that pretends to be somebody else;
- jobs that ask applicants to pay - for a visa, training, a uniform or anything else - or anything that looks like a scam;
- abuse, hate, threats or harassment of anybody;
- somebody else's private information, such as a home address or phone number, without their permission;
- spam, advertising dressed up as a listing, or the same thing again and again;
- anything illegal, or that breaks someone else's rights, including photographs you did not take or may not use.
What happens to what you post
You keep the rights to what you post. By posting it you allow us to show it on Eritrean.net, to translate it, to include it in search and in the listings shared with search engines, and to keep a record of it for moderation. If you delete it, we stop showing it.
A listing, event or job may be reviewed before it appears, and changes to its name, address or website may be reviewed again.
Moderation
Moderators may refuse, take down or close something that breaks these terms, and will tell you why. Depending on how serious or repeated a problem is, an account may be warned, restricted from posting, suspended for a time, or closed. You can ask for a second look at any of these decisions from your account page, and somebody other than the moderator who made it will decide.
Anybody can report something that looks wrong, with or without an account. Please report honestly; reporting things falsely or in bulk is itself a reason for action.
Claims and verification
If a listing is about your business, you can claim it by showing that it is yours. A verification badge means we checked evidence that the business is who it says it is, on the date shown - not that we recommend it.
Links and other services
Listings link to phone numbers, WhatsApp, email and websites that belong to others. We are not responsible for what happens there, or for dealings between you and a business, organiser or employer.
Our responsibility
We run Eritrean.net with care, but we provide it as it is. As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for losses that come from relying on information posted here, or from the site being unavailable for a time. Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have under the law where you live.
Changes
We may update these terms. If a change matters, we will say so on the site before it takes effect and update the date at the top. Using the site after that means you accept the new terms.
